After years of careful study of the essence plants and experience as flower essence practitioners, Julian and Martine Barnard began preparing the 38 English flower essences, many from wild plants growing in nearby fields and hillsides. They started their flower essence company, Healing Herbs (a term Bach used to describe his flower remedies), to offer an alternative source for the 38 English flower essences familiar to practitioners and customers throughout the world.
