Many years ago, as a matter of fact (and legend), in Germany's Black Forest, Anton Hubner, an enterprising monk and herbalist began creating blends of extracts and essential oils from the tips of the coniferous trees. He covered the branches in honey, place them in the sun and then extract the essence from the needles. When this preliminary extraction is complete other strategic herbal ingredients are added.
