TeaGschwendner's passion for tea began in the late seventies when they opened their first small tea shop in Trier, Germany. From those humble beginnings, the company blossomed into what it is today, a global leader in specialty teas. Today TeaGschwendner has more than 130 shops in seven countries on four continents. They're sharing the world's finest teas with customers in locations such as Frankfurt, Germany; Vienna, Austria; Sao Paulo, Brazil; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and now Chicago Illinois!

They take their corporate responsibility seriously, actively concerning themselves with the living and working conditions on the tea gardens that supply them, as well as with the maintenance of the natural environment in which they stand.
