TheraPearl was co-founded by Dr. Carol Baltazar in 2008 along with her colleague and partner, Gina Dubbé. Carol's vision for the company stems from her work as a Board Certified Internal Medicine physician and her extensive experience in the area of non-surgical cosmetic care. As a physician responsible for non-surgical procedures, Carol has tended to patients requiring solutions to reduce procedural trauma and support the healing process. After years of dealing with messy and oversize cold or gel packs, Carol began to explore and develop a product that could meet her needs and the needs of her patients. She decided to try and develop her own solution to replace commonly used homemade remedies such as frozen peas by developing a product that had similar features to the popular vegetable.
