WindRose Trading Co.'s story began in 1977 with one incredible Triloka fragrance- Balalaika. From the success of this one fragrance, in both US and Europe, the complete line of Triloka hand-blended and hand-rolled quality incense became what it is today. Then in 1978, with the help of two women from a remote village in India, they launched the first of their extensive line of textiles- small pouches made from woven bedspreads. And so it began...

Since those early days they have broadened their network to include various Fair Trade groups. The majority of their products are handmade by small cottage industries that they work closely with to ensure that each item produced is made by skilled crafters that are treated fairly and humanely.
