Merz Apothecary is a family-owned business dedicated to creating a memorable and rewarding experience for customers AND employees. We are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Associate who would be working both in the retail store as well as answering phones/emails in customer service.

Responsibilities/Requirements

  • The ideal candidate would have established retail sales and customer service experience.
  • Someone who can connect with people.
  • Speaking and writing passionately about the products we sell.
  • Excellent listening skills and the ability to ask probing questions, understand concerns, and overcome objections with ease and clarity.
  • The ability to handle phone calls, email, and order-related issues, while building sales and maintaining a positive attitude even with the occasional frustrated customer.
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this job.
  • An interest in natural health, personal care, and fragrance is a plus, but not necessary.
  • German, Romanian, Polish, Serbo-Croatian, or other second language skills are also a HUGE plus.

The hours are flexible, but we need someone who has 12 to 24 hours of availability throughout the week, including Saturdays. We offer competitive wages based on experience.
